WSET® Level 3 Advanced Certificate Examination
Changes to the WSET® Level 3 Advanced Certificate Examination
- From 1 August 2010, all candidates sitting the Advanced Certificate examination (including resit candidates) will be required to complete a written tasting note on two wines, and the tasting paper exam is being extended from 15 to 30 minutes. Please note that this is a “closed book” examination and candidates will not be allowed access to the Systematic Approach to Tasting during this examination.

Our Swiss Wine Certificate courses have now been officially launched!

In March 2010, we ran our first course in the Canton of Fribourg with our first group of students!.

The next level of the course will be launched in January 2011 - The abcwine-spirits.ch - Advanced Certificate in Swiss Wine!

WSET® Qualifications now valid in 53 countries

The Wine and Spirit Education Trust's courses are now available in 53 countries!

Over 24,000 students, in 53 countries and 13 languages sat WSET® examinations in the year 2009/2010. An organisation with educational charity status, the WSET® is the only wine and spirit educational entity approved by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, the UK government's regulator for education. We are currently accredited by the Wine and Spirit Education Trust to offer all courses up to the Diploma level.

We are currently not eligible to offer the Diploma course, but aim to offer it in the near future.
