The WSET® Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines and Spirits
This qualification is intended to provide core knowledge of the wide range of wines and spirits around the world. The qualification is designed for trade and hospitality employees working in a supervisory capacity who need to advise management, answer customer queries authoritatively, or make informed selections of wines and spirits in a variety of situations. The qualification is a prerequisite for those planning to move on to the WSET® Diploma in Wines and Spirits.

The instruction on this course assumes that students are familiar with the concepts introduced and developed on the Intermediate Certificate course and builds upon them. The course may also be suitable for people who are not employed in the drinks industry but wish to learn more about the subject. It is important that potential students appreciate that this is primarily a professional development course for the drinks and hospitality industries and is approached in that way by the tutors.
