  • Révision de la loi sur l'alcool

    Révision de la Loi sur l’alcool – Décision du Conseil des Etats du 20.3.2013
    Loi sur l’imposition des spiritueux
    ·                     Maintien du taux de CHF 29.00 par litre a.p. (art. 16) (par 23:21 voix !)
    ·                     Introduction de l’imposition du rendement; cette décision a pour conséquence l’élimination de l’art. 19 (réduction échelonnée de l’impôt) et de l’art. 18 al. 2 (exonération pour pertes).      l’exonération pour les denrées alimentaires contenant de l’alcool est cependant maintenue (art. 18 al. 1);
    ·                     renoncement à la (ré)-introduction de la règle des 10 litres proposée par la CER-CE;
    ·                     la privatisation d’Alcosuisse et l’intégration de la RFA dans l’administration fédérale n’ont pas été         contestées.
     
    Loi sur le commerce de l‘alcool
    ·                     Maintien de dispositions distinctes pour la publicité (art. 4 et 5);
    ·                     Maintien de l‘interdiction de transmission d’alcool (art. 7 al. 2);
    ·                     Introduction d’un prix plancher (minimum) pour les boissons alcooliques (nouvel art. 8a);
    ·                     Les avantages accordés doivent être possibles en tout temps pour toutes les boissons alcooliques (art. 10);
    ·                     Maintien d’une interdiction de vente d’alcool au détail entre 22h00 et 6h00 (art. 10 al. 2 b);
    ·                     Acceptation de la base légale pour les achats tests. Seuls les entreprises pourront être poursuivies et non les vendeurs (art. 13).
     
    Lors du vote final la Loi sur l’imposition des spiritueux a été approuvée par 23 :8 voix et 6 abstentions, la Loi sur le commerce de l’alcool a été approuvée par 33 :0 voix et 4 abstentions.
    La commission des finances du Conseil national (11.4.2013) et la Commission d’économie et redevances du CN (13.5.2013) traiteront cette révision avant que le plénum du CN n’en débatte.

    Der Schweizerische Spirituosenverband hat die nötigen Schritte unternommen, damit die Schweizer Produzenten nicht mehr gezwungen sind, die Zusatzstoffe in Likör, Bitter und Aperitif zu deklarieren.

    Mit dieser Allgemeinverfügung, welche nach Ablauf der 30 tägigen Beschwerdefist in Kraft tritt (am 24. September 2012), müssen die Schweizer Spirituosenproduzenten die Zusatzstoffe (Zucker, Aromen, Farbstoffe usw.) nicht mehr deklarieren, wie dies bereits heute schon in den Mitgliedstaaten der EU der Fall ist.   • New law on allergens displayed on wine bottles in Canada

    Change to the allergen declaration in Canada

    As of the 1st of August 2012, all wines from the 2012 harvest will need to include a declaration for allergens which will also include albumin, lactose and fish is obligatory for all wines where these components are still present at bottling. Usually the wine is allergen free after filtration.

    The wines from the 2011 harvest are excluded from this requirement until all stocks have been sold. SO2 content is a requirement for contents over 10 ppm.


  • WSET® Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits Qualification - as of the 1st of August 2012 also in the French Language!

    As of the 1st of August 2012, the WSET® Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits qualification will also be available in the French language!

    More details will follow in the coming months!

    Changes to Names of Courses and New Course Materials for academic year 2011 / 2012 :

     As of the 1st of August 2011 there are name changes for the following courses:

    1. WSET® Level 1 Foundation Certificate in Wines - name change to: WSET® Level 1 Award in Wines
    2. WSET® Level 2 Intermediate Certificate in Wines and Spirits - name change to: WSET® Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits
    3. WSET® Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines and Spirits - name change to: WSET® Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits

    Updates to the following Textbooks:

    • The WSET® Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits new edition of "Looking Behind the Label"
    • The WSET® Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits - new textbook: "Wines and Spirits: Understanding Style and Quality"

    New Sommelier Courses:

    1. WSET® Level 1 Award in Wine Service - officially launched in August 2011
    2. WSET® Level 2 Award in Professional Wine Service - successfully offered for the first time in Switzerland during the months of October and November 2011 and now part of our normal course offering.
